The Flores Bday Extravaganza!!
That’s right folks. It’s that time of the year again where we all gather around to give thanks to the lord for bestowing Kool G Flores upon us. Normally we do this by getting him hammered at Forbidden City, but this year we’re doing things a lil’ different. We’ll be back at Haven tomorrow night for a special “Flores Bday Extravaganza”, celebrating Kool G and his sister Tracey’s birthday! Details Below:

Bathing Ape….. We off that?
"The seasons are getting.....colder"
Amongst the endless amount of video tapes, audio cassettes, and closed sneaker boxes stuffed in my closet, I noticed that there’s also an insurmountable amount of “Bathing Ape” apparel, or “Bape” for short, hanging around. (No pun intended) Along with these you’ll find other brands such as “Supreme“, “Original Fake“, and “Kid Robot” to name a few. If we back track to the sneakers, those boxes are closed for a reason. If they weren’t in boxes, the floor of my closet would look like the place I’ve been hiding my loose skittles for the past 5 years. What boggles my mind is that along with not wearing much of those brands anymore, I’ve also noticed I haven’t seen them worn. Well, I’m sure you’ll get that one outta every 500 new yorkers you see. With that said, me owning all this “pseudo-sk8ter” merchandise has me asking myself one question….. Is the craze over?
Lately, I’ve seen less and less creative sneaker releases popping up online, and as for Nigo and his technicolor dream, it’s not so…… “in your face” anymore. It was only a few months ago, I’d see droves of people (Not just kids), dressed in Bape garb, from head to toe…. to key chain. Not to mention the credibility graffiti artist were gaining. KAWS was all over the place, from magazine covers, to albums. Where is it all now? I mean, my speculations could be wrong, but I believe the happy go lucky world of glow in the dark soles and desktop toys has reached its zenith. And that brings me to another question….
WHAT THE FUCK AM IM GONNA DO WITH ALL THIS STUFF?!?!?!
